IAPG Houston Announces the 2010 Scholarship Awards

The Board of Directors of the IAPG Houston ("IAPGH") is delighted to announce the names of the first two selected recipients of the IAPG Houston Scholarship Program.

This year's recipients are:

•       · Gisela Porfiri,  Geophysics - University of Houston ,
•       · Santiago Drexler,  Nanotechnology for Enhanced Oil Recovery - University of Oklahoma

The IAPGH provides two scholarships per year to Argentine professionals planning to pursue or currently enrolled in a graduate degree program in the United States of America : in Petroleum Engineering, Geosciences (geology and geophysics), and Environmental Engineering related to the petroleum industry.

· July 8, 2010 - 2010 Annual Meeting and Elections

On July 8th the IAPG Houston held its 2010 Annual Meeting and Elections. The new Board of Directors for the 2010-2011 was approved unanimously.
